Tydskrif vir Letterkunde: a journal for African literature, has a new website: www.letterkunde.africa.
The TLA publishes Tydskrif vir Letterkunde – a journal housed in the Department of Afrikaans, University of Pretoria, Pretoria, South Africa. Tydskrif vir Letterkunde is a peer reviewed journal that promotes the study, critique of and research of both the literature and culture of the Afrikaans community as well as the literature, languages and cultures of Africa and the African diaspora. The TLA is a common law non-profit legal entity.
Membership of the TLA is granted on an invitation-only basis. Members must be affiliated to an academic institution and their research must relate to the study, critique of and research of the literature and culture of the Afrikaans community or to the literature, languages and cultures of Africa and the African diaspora. Retired academics may also be considered for membership. The TLA does not charge membership fees.
